This week a real treasure from the late 80's, the Uttoxetter band Yeah Jazz.
They released a couple of singles in different labels (see a discography in http://www.twee.net/bands/y/yeahjazz.html) and a wonderful LP, "six lane ends".
This song was only released in a compilation album called "Imminent 5" (a great album with 1000 violins, Enormous room, Great outdoors...) and has some of the best trumpets I've ever heard in a pop recording.

Had to do a post on Yeah Jazz for my readers too, the song This Is Not Love is incredible, i found it after a while and it was worth every hour i damned the net for not having it online. Thanks for bringing them to my attention once again.

I have loved Yeah Jazz since I first heard This is Not Love on Radio 1 played by Janice Long. Six Lane Ends is a fantasic LP never know why they never made it big.

Thanks so much for this Javier, i copied Six Lane Ends from someone several years ago and love it!! Have tried to find other Yeah Jazz records (even mailed Cherry Red) but to no avail..
